NU - YU
Packaging and Advert Design
YEAR: 2025
ROLE: Creative Direction, Graphic Design
NU-YU is a speculative project that satirizes Latin America's obsession with Eurocentric standards. This fictional supplement doesn't change the body, but rather the perception of it: it makes the consumer appear successful and "accepted" according to external norms.
Its identity blends the clinical aesthetics of the pharmaceutical industry with cheerful colors and a mascot inspired by the European Union, creating an attractive yet unsettling contradiction. The bottle, posters, and an illegible side effects card invite us to question the beauty, success, and social validation we consume without reading the warnings.
This project seeks to question why people trust success standards as they would a dietary supplement. It encourages reflection on a conscious decision that many make every day.
